Hotel Information

Great News!! The City Hotel & Bistro located right at the Convention Center is giving us a rate of $79.00 per night. and it includes a full breakfast buffet!!  Just let them know that you are with the Down East Doll Show and they will get you all taken care of.  In order to book your reservations you must call and let them know you are with the Down East Doll Show 252-355-8300 or (877) 271-2616

Hours of Operation and Show Dates

The Show & Retail floor for Collectors/Visitors  will be open Friday 22nd & Saturday 23rd  @ 10:00 am - 7:00 pm

Set Up for Exhibitors will be on Thursday 21st from 8 am - 7pm and Friday 8 am - 9:30 am  The retail floor opens at 10 am.  The Mayor of Greenville, will cut the ribbon, make a proclamation to designate the week of our show as "Doll Artist & Collector Week" in the city of Greenville, NC and the show will start at 10 am sharp.

Classes will be held Thursday & Friday June 21st & 22nd 8am-5pm

There will be Reborning Techniques Workshops each hour throughout the show starting at 10am with a one hour lunch break from noon till 1 pm and then the last class of the day at 6pm on Friday & Saturday taught by various teachers.

Tea Party after the show on Saturday night from 8pm till we're done with snacks & beverages provided.

There will be an Awards Ceremony &  Baby Shower hosted by Gia Heath, Stacey Haskins & Lisa Farmer Lovern from 10 am - 3 pm

A full service Luncheon from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Sunday June 24th at the Hilton Hotel.

The Luncheon will be a hot lunch Menu which you can find on the Baby Shower Page.

(A Chef's choice meal for vegetarians light on the carbs will be provided as well.  Please let us know if you need this type of meal so that we have an accurate head count for the Chef.)

$65.00 Conference Registration which includes the Tea Party after the show Saturday night, 16 different Workshops Friday & Saturday and then on Sunday an awards show, baby shower &  full service luncheon.

These events are open to exhibitors & collectors with purchase of a conference registration Ticket (if you purchase a conference registration ticket you do not need to purchase a collector/visitor ticket)

If you are purchasing a conference ticket, you do not need these tickets.

RHA Howell Care Center -Tar River is a non-profit, residential facility that houses thirty children that are medically fragile. They require 24/7 nursing and respiratory care due to many of our children having trachs, g-tubes and ventilators. These children range in ages from birth to 15 years old and all have both a physical and cognitive disability. At the facility, we take care of all of their medical, nutritional, and educational needs. The children attend "school" on campus to help reach their maximum potential.

            With limited funding, purchasing any type of specialized equipment is impossible for us to do alone. Every year we hold various fundraising events to purchase supplies and teaching materials.  Recently, we've been trying to fundraise for Smart boards for our classrooms. These boards are interactive displays that are connected to a computer. computer.

Our students can greatly benefit from having such a device to access their intended curriculum. Their learning would be more visual and they would have much more of a "hands on" approach to learning. The interactive lesson would hold their attention better and, since they enjoy participating, they would be more likely to retain any newly learned skills.
