preparing your vinyl all they way through assembling
your painted and rooted doll are included in the

Debbie is highly skilled in creating beautiful
life-like skin tones and incredibly detailed nails,
lips and brows and won't be holding back any
"secrets" you will learn it all.
In this two day class, students will be instructed,
in depth, on creating multidimensional skin tones
using LDC air dry paints.
Students are encouraged to bring their favorite
acrylic brushes (these must have never been used
with any oil paints such as Genesis paints), their
favorite sponges for applying paints ,
ceramic paint pallet with wells in it. (the flower
petal type, not a flat, or plate type
pallet)
and an apron or
painting shirt.
All other supplies are provided, including a
Stephanie Sullivan "Quad" doll kit and body.
Students will take LDC paints that they mixed up in
class for use on more dolls once they arrive home.
A thorough education, door prizes and a fun abound

students will be instructed
on sculpting a 14"-16" life
size preemie infant in
Prosculpt polymer clay.
Supplies that are provided
are a 1 lb block of
Prosculpt clay, a
foam armature, a cloth body
and a set of eyes (if you
decide to sculpt an open
eyed baby). Students
will also receive and take
home a printed version of my
"Sculpting a Baby in Polymer
Clay" E-book. This book is
a COMPLETE instructional
manual on creating a one of
a kind baby including
sculpting, painting,
assembling, applying hair
and more!
A variety of sculpting tools
will be available for use
during this class but
students are encouraged to
bring along their favorite
sculpting tools if desired.

Painted Hair with GHSP Class on Thursday hosted/Taught
by Evon Lynn Nather
In this class students will receive in-depth,
one on one rooting instruction. Students will
learn how to create a natural directionally
rooted swirl, and a realistic "baby" head of
hair so realistic it appears to be growing right
out of the baby doll's head. This class is
suitable for the beginner, or for anyone that
would like to improve on their rooting skills.
One day

Students must bring their own pre-painted newborn or smaller head. Please keep in mind
that bringing a head larger than this, may not
be able to be completed in the time allotted.
I will provide the mohair, which will be a
beautiful baby brown color, so students are
encouraged to paint the baby's complexion (skin
tones) and eyebrows accordingly. I will
also provide the needles. Students should bring
their own rooting tool if they have one, if they
do not have such a tool, then a banding tool will be provided to root with.
As a gift for taking the class, students will go home with a
couple of extra needles to practice with, along with the
remainder of the provided 1/4 ounce
of mohair to be used in the class and the
rooting bowl & towel that is also provided will
go home with the students.
Also upon
taking my class students will receive a bonus

O'Daniel, which will be for sale at the show at
table #2. I will be demonstrating
